In honor of Stan Remick and Darrell Dunn,
the name "Mended Heart" was retired.
The name of the band, as of 2007
is, "The Dreyer Brothers"!

Darrell Dunn 55, went home to be with the Lord in August 2004 after a long battle with cancer.

Darrell started Mended Heart in 1995.  He sang lead and harmony.  Prior to that he sang 6 years with the Crossroads Quartet and 6 years with the Circuit Riders; two very popular gospel groups in the Pacific Northwest.

His knowledge of music and harmony was the “glue” that put it all together.   His sharp impromptu wit added hilarious comedy to each performance.

Stan Remick, 70,  went home to be with the Lord in September 2006 after a brief illness with pancreatic cancer.

Stan joined Mended Heart in late 1998.  He played lap steel most of his life and took up the pedal steel in 1992.  Stan's talent on pedal steel guitar rounded out the unique style of music that made Mended Heart so special.  Stan displayed his comic character while singing a few specialty songs like "Preacher and the Bear" and "I'm My Own Grandpa".

Stan played short stints with a couple country bands in Colorado, and then with a few local western and country gospel bands before finally joining Mended Heart.
