Randy Dreyer, Baritone, Bass Guitar and Baritone Ukulele Randy drives the music with his jazzy, solid and unique bass guitar style while his smooth and stunning vocals blend the signature, close 3-part harmony style of the group. Randy has been the baritone with the group since they formed in 1995. Prior to that he was drummer for the Circuit Riders for 2 years. In addition to playing bass guitar, and drums he also plays the piano. Recently he added baritone ukulele to his list of accomplishments. Randy is the creator of the dynamic musical and vocal arrangements and this is one of the elements that set this group apart from many other bands. He says his true calling as a cowboy was not on the range but rather on the stage. His astounding skill as a yodeler shows his wide vocal range. Basically shy guys in their personal life, but not on stage, it is apparent that musical talent overflows in the Dreyer family. Randy and his wife Angela have lived in Washington state most of their lives with their two children, Joshua and Merissa.

Marty Dahlgren - Fiddle When Marty was just 5 or 6 years old he was impressed by fiddle playing when neighbors would gather and play Mazurka dance tunes. He had classical violin lessons at age 7 and later played old time music in small informal groups. He eventually played with various groups, for square dances and club dances. He even formed his own group in North Dakota and in Montana. In the 50’s he played with Jack Roberts and the Evergreen Drifters in South King County and in the 60’s he played on a weekly TV show out of Seattle known as Evergreen Jubilee. During that time he was part of a back up band for big names such as Jimmy Dickens, Faron Young, Hank Thompson, and George Jones, just to name a few. Marty has always enjoyed playing Western Swing music (Bob Wills style) and was a founding charter member of Pioneers of Western Swing. In 1967 his son joined the Boy Scouts of America and Marty left music to devote all his extra time as a Scout Master. Even after getting back into music, he still devotes much of his time to Scouts, working now with his grandchildren. When Marty joined this group he remarked how much he enjoys playing with such a uniquely talented gospel group, unlike any other group he has played with in the past. He brings down the house with his exceptional skill when he is featured playing "Listen to the Mocking Bird." |
