THE DREYER BROTHERS |
The Dreyer Brothers (formerly known as Mended Heart) are a western and country gospel music group who frequently include non-western songs in their repertoire such as those great tunes sung by the Mills Brothers. They earned critical acclaim, as a 2004 nominee for the Academy of Western Artists Best Western Group of the Year and Best Western Swing Album of the Year, and again nominated in the top 10 of the 2005 Rising Star of the Year Award. This dynamic band, located in the Seattle area, performs at fairs, festivals, gospel concerts, and cowboy gatherings throughout the Pacific Northwest, California and Canada, drawing a loyal audience year after year. The Dreyer Brothers includes Stacey Dreyer, tenor, keyboard, bass, drums and keyboard arrangements; Randy Dreyer, baritone, bass guitar, ukulele, and vocal arrangements; and Doug Dreyer, vocals, rhythm guitar, bass and songwriter. They are backed-up by other talented musicians on the fiddle, steel guitar and lead guitar. Add a lot of comedic humor to the mix, and The Dreyer Brothers prove over and over again to be a true crowd pleaser. Sometimes a special charisma happens when talented siblings form a trio. Pronouncing words the same way and in the same cadence is a part of it but the blend is truly unique. This may be the reason so many popular groups consisting of family members have made it big in the entertainment field. An evening with this group is an unforgettable time of pure music and family entertainment. We especially invite you to have The Dreyer Brothers perform an all Gospel Concert in your church. They want the music they play to be a positive witness of the power of Christ and connect with audiences young and old. They are proud to serve God with their vocal harmony and instruments.
